Men’s File exists in a realm of contradictions and paradoxes, in that we seek to address very modern questions of style through an examination of the past. To this end we are assisted, almost exclusively, by an international group of street- stylists and aesthetes, for whom detail is everything. Enter stage right, Milan based Daniele Savare of Connection Knitwear and Clothing. A man who has dedicated his adult life to new and exciting proposals in Italian styling of the 1960s. After years collecting original clothing (as well as cars and scooters) the dapper signor produces a range of apparel for the genuine connoisseur of that period – so well defined in the films of Antonioni, Pasolini and Visconti.
