Gary Eastman: 1943 WLA

Many years ago (Gary never says exactly when) Mr Eastman dismantled an ancient A2 flying jacket with the intention of finding out how it was made, with the idea of making a copy for himself. A few decades later and Eastman Leather Clothing is one of a select few of go-to brands for the serious connoisseur of replica militaria. Living in the rugged territory of Dartmoor, the self-taught military historian and collector has located stretches of countryside that appear to be unchanged since British and American forces trained in the area in the time leading up to D-day. Sporting a new M-41 Field  Jacket and Okinawa pants by Eastman Leather Clothing, Jungle Collection and tanker boots by John Lofgren (Bottom), he continues to test what he makes in the field.
